A SUMMERTIME BIRTHDAY PARTY!

It's almost my granddaughter's 12 th Birthday...time sure flies!

In my Card today, Tilda is the center of attention in her softly muted summer dress...
perfect for a Summer Birthday Party

She finds herself surrounded with dilicate butterflies made with MS punches.
Several layers of DP was used to add texture.
The ribbon/bow is regular seam binding that I've colored using Walnut distress ink
by Tim Holtz.
The leaf spray is made with my Cricut and colored using an ink pad.
The sentiment is computer generated and cut using nestabilities.

Back From Vacation!

It sure is hard getting back into the groove, after ones been on vacation!  

Today I have another Red, White and Blue card... with so many scrapes on my desk from my last card, I decided to just try and use them up.

I used Copics to color my image.

White dots were enhansed with a Sharpie Poster-Paint pen...I love this pen!

The pewter Butterflie charm is from a local bead shop...I got 7 of these for $1. !!!
The leaf pin is from Wild Orchid Crafts .

The paper butterflies were made using stamped card stock and a MS punch.

"just for you" is a clear stamp.

The bottom Scalloped edge is made with a  Sizzix die.

Terrible Two's In Red, White and Blues

Happy 4th of July weekend to you all! Todays card is an example of "Real Fireworks" ...a two year olds tantrums.

I love these two Digital images from Mo's Digital Pencil, I think they are absolutely adorable...
of course it's all about ones perspective, and I'm no longer the mother of a two year old...and I can't even imagine having Twin two year olds!
I used a clear unmounted stamp for the sentiment and attached it to a Cuttlebug die cut...the flower is also a cuttlebug die cut.  My friend Char made the little bird embellishment for me.

The images were printed out on Neenah's Classic Crest Super Smooth cover, and colored with the following  Copics;
