LOVE is in the air, so this week I couldn't help but make a Valentine, for My Valentine.
Fairy Fun Friday's Challenge is "For Your Sweetheart".

Over at the Do You Stack Up Challenge blog, their theme is "Patterns".
Papertake Weekly Challenge blog has a sketch to use.
So that is where I started, and this is what I came up with:

I used my "beloved" Copics to color my stamped image... (a very old "Stampassions" stamp.)

I used R89, R39, and R85 for the heart.
The flowers are made with a Martha Stewart Punch and I used little dryed Pepper Berries for the centers...I just couldn't find anything else for the flower centers, that I liked.
I'm also entering this in the following challenges;

Orange and Green!!!

Not my favorite color combinations...I'm more of a cool color girl, but when The Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog came up with it as their theme, I had to try....After all, the drawing is for a $25. certificate toward more Maggies at The Magnolia-licious Store  ...How could one resist !!!
Here she is;

Hope you all are enjoying your weekend.  It's been a "crafty one" around here... It's amazing what a little encouragement will do for the soul.  I am feeling encourage, because the lovely ladies, the Design Team, over at the Do You Stack Up Challenge blog  chose my "Distressed card" as one of the Top Three of last weeks challenge.  You can go to the DYSU Challenge blog to see the other two winners.
That encouragement fueled me to enter more Challenges this week.
While I started out with a couple of Challenges in mind, this card ended up eligible for several.
The stamp I used is an older stamp from Inky Antics.  She is one of my favorite stamps to color...I love her attitude, in fact, I think I want to be her!
I'm disappointed that the "Glitz" of the swirl on her hat, as well as the sparkle of the d DP doesn't show up as well in the photograph.
Her Hat and gown are colored with Copics YG00, 01, 03, and 25
Eyeshadow is B01
Swirl is R85 with pink Stickels
The sentiment is a Digital Freebie I got from Free Digital Stamps.
I used thread to gather one edge of the ribbon and "hot glued it" to the back edge of the oval.  I had a difficult time getting the pearls to stick the way I wanted them to.
I'm entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Challenge;  Gems, Glitter and Ribbon
Wild Orchid Challenge; Lets Get Sentimental
Ribbon Girl Color Challenge;  Pink and Green
Alphabet Challenge blog; L is for Ladies
Papertake Weekly Challenge; Ribbon and Pearls
Pile It On; Anything Goes

No, not card!  This weeks Challenge over at "Do You Stack Up Challenge Blog" is "Distress It!"  As you can see, if I distressed this card any more, it would be just a pile of little pieces of paper.  I may have gotten a little too carried away!
I used Copics to color the image and a stamp pad the give depth to a piece of grocery bag, that I repeatedly crumpled up. The image I used was a Freebie at La boite a surprise .  The "LOVE" is part of a free image, but for the life of me, I cannot find it's source again.  If anyone knows, please let me know, so that I can give credit to the artist.

This card is also entered in the following Challenge Blogs;

A New Challenge Blog and a New Challenger!

Over at the Do You Stack Up Challenge Blog , they are having their first ever challenge.  Since I have never participated in a challenge and love using digital images, I thought this would be a good place to "get my feet wet".  The Challenge is "Cute as A Button", and I thought this little guy  totally filled the bill!
The image I used was free from Digital Delights

Their theme is  plain and simple this week......USE A DIGI!!!

A Little Gothic Cutie For Valentines Day!
I'm not really into Goth, but "Tiddly Inks" has some darling little cuties I could not resist.  Best of all, they are digis!  This little gal is called "Always The Flower Girl".  She is colored with copics.  The paper is from a "K&company pad, and the ribbon and trinket were sent to me by Tina at for her Nov. Candy Blog.
